yeah i was devestated when i came home to find my pygos floating :/ but im excited to raise this little monster.
I just want to do everything i can for him to receive the best results.
I was going to ask about the aquarium salt and piranhas but i see there was already a thread saying it wasnt necesary except for aid.
Is the blackwater solution cheap? Where can i purchase it? and will it affect live plants/rocks/driftwood in any way?

Thats what I use with my shoal and my rhom. It just makes it look natural and helps dim lites.
That was my thread with the salt and piranhas, I half dose my rbp tank just because of fin nipping, a pack of 5 can sometimes give eachother wounds so the salt is beneficial imo.
Oh and NLS pellets will turn ur little guy into a beast, and keep the temp at 80.
