Hey Mo thanks for doing this for those of us that won't be making it make to the convention. Can't wait to see you pix from there.

I appreciate that. Thanks. I'm going loaded for bear...bringing my Canon XL2 studio camera and the still cameras.

Okay, this question is basically to you, I know uve kept and seen many different SA/CA cichlids, so if you were to pick one for a 60 gallon which one would you pick for it to be alone?

Ya know, I really like some of those Uruguay fish that I saw last night. Ken Davis had some real stunners. So if I had to pick one fish for anew tank it would probably be that big headed Balzani.

So many of my fish are 10+ inches. I think a smaller fish would be a pleasant change. If I had to pick one of the larger fish...hands down the Yellow Labridens.

Nice meeting you last night Mo. Can't wait to see some of your pics. There were some really nice SA/CA in the show.

Great meeting you and your lovely wife as well. You're gonna pa prime when she drags you off to the "cosmetic convention" or some other eqully disturbing reciprocation. LOL Seriously...hope to see you again in the next day or so.

How about that assortment of fish for sale in the rental room?! Lots of CA/SA cichlids and a lot less "feeder" Africans.

Very good posts Yogurt and Shadow....... Bravo!

Back on topic........ Mo, has there been any more talk about filming the presentations?

Chris...not really. I know that some folks just set up a camera and do it. I know the last couple talks I've given at different clubs were recorded. And the one talk I gave at the Chicago ACA was recorded.

You should be here pal. Lots of great looking fish in the show...one a MONSTER Umbee.

Great job Mo!
Thanks for all the good work and great photos. It is very thoughtfull to ask members if they had any questions for the experts. I for one appreciate your efforts on behalf of the hobby.

Thank You,

You ae welcome. I didn't see Juan Miguel, but I did get Eric Hanneman to address the Carpinte variants as well as Hericthys complex in general. I also have Ad Konigs talking about Cichlid Diversity. I have some of the MFK'ers on tape as well. Great bunch of folks. I have Li on video tape. I had no idea that he was close to six foot tall.:)

More to shoot, more to come. Lots of great fish. My interest, of course is in the CA/SA cichlids. And there are some brutes. There's a Bifasiciatum here that will blow your mind...and an Umbee. Time to take a break and enjoy the show.

Getting ready for the *****'s (Babes In The Cichlid Hobby)auction tonight. If you haven't seen one, it's like soft porn with booze and cichlids. Wild *** time.
