it will come with time...feed it shell on shrimp and expose it to sunlight...works for my silvers red and my jar...

The silvers have great colors and the Jardini's I have left-1 has a lot of black in it and the other who eats mostly worms is a bright silver. with some nice speckling.I think they would do better with other foods. Oh- I forgot to mention-they will also eat market shrimp. Just cut them up very small and drop them from up high above the tank so it splashes and moves the water. I haven't tried krill-I should do that later tonight.A trick with dried krill is take some tank water in a cup and let the krill get all soggy and then drop em in with the water with a small"pour effect" and they usually will grab it faster than they know what it is. Its how I get almost all my fish off of live.Just trick them. If you are feeding live-drop one live in,followed with a piece of krill. Literally throw it at the water for the splash and they will nail it.

nice helpful tip my jardini loves worms so i might try to feed on squirmer and then try to stick a pellet in the next worm see if he grabs that.
