What do your bichir eat?

I got a polypterus delhezi yesterday and he hasn't eaten yet. I gave him frozen bloodworms and frozen brine shrimp. I was wondering what your bichirs like to eat and any suggestions on what to do. Also, this is my first time keeping any polypterus species and if u would drop some stories of yours that would be great! Thanks guys!

hikari massivore delight (use hikari carnivore pellets if the bichir is small), krill, and earthworms (use red wriggler worms instead of earthworms/nightcrawlers if bichir is small). I would start it on the pellets first to make sure it takes them. After it eats that for about a month or two, then I would occassionally (like two or three times a week) alternate between krill and worms to mix in with the daily pellet regiment.
