Well in my 55 gallon tank:

butterfly fish is all like "ya i'm just gunna stay up here and do nothing till you feed me"
then the Nandus Nandus goes "ok now either you give me more feeders or i'm gunna eat some of your other fish damn it!!!" (then he eats my non-feeder fish)
meanwhile my senegal is like "hmmm i'm gunna go eat a feeder and some shrimp.....wait i need a gulp of air, wait i think you are lookin at me, i better stair you down"
then the needlefish is all like "ya thats right i'm a needlefish i'm just gunna swim arounda bit"
and then my pictus is like "hmm i love this spot i think i'm gunna just stay here the rest of the day.....OMG is that food yum yum yum omg omg omg food food food MMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM i love food yum yummy yummy......oh no more food....i suppose i'll just stay in this spot now"

ha

well since my tank is in the garage my fish watch me work out and my gar stares at me and doesnt move at all till i finally go over and feed him.

and my other fish swim back and forward across the whole tank really fast till i feed em and when i come to the tank the jump up and try to bite my hands in search of food.
:D

all my fish seem to talk to me from tank
they see me across room and call me over to feed them
or i walk up on tank and they get crazy .... FEED ME!!!!

last night when i was in my living room and not paying attention to my African Hap tank my Fosso will splash like Shamu to get my attention then i walk over and feed them so i guess im the one thats trained

I have observed interesting behavior in my 90gal.

After feeding, a few pellets will be stuck to the glass lids. My turq. severum will see this and position himself underneath the pellet. My steini will position himself below and to the side of the severum. The severum will jump up and knock the pellet free from the lid and when it hits the water surface the steini eats it.

Team work :headbang2

Burt:)

My fish are waiting for me to come to feed them. And they are Chasing Each other.

hehe i'll break down by the fish

Gold Severum female- Has, currently, two areas she likes to chill. Left side: upper part; is where she'll wait and beg for food; lower part, is where she'll occasionaly rest and at times sleep when the lights go out. Right side: she'll stay close to the bottom by the filter intake, hardly ever hangs in the upper-middle right of tank. - ok just checked and she's hanging upper right side of tank :nilly:

Convict female- Chases just about everybody, except gold sev hehe size matters i guess. Just recently loves to chase the Leporinus. I think she want's to mate with it lol. Chases lep into her space under driftwood-style cave. Then occasionaly chases the lep out of her space. then looks for her and chases her back?!? back and forth heheh
Convict also chases my Rainbow and Carpinte around when she deems necessary. Occasionally will go to surface for food, would rather it fall to her about mid-level. She'll lay eggs at the slightest change in temp above 80. I keep the tank about 78-79.

Leporinus- does what it does tries to satisfy the convict otherwise finds spots to just chill. Occasionally flares up at the Rainbow and Carpinte. Mainly bottom dweller. Will go up to surface for food.

Rainbow Cichlid- Currently resides in the center of tank, by the continually disappearing Java moss i recently added, what can i say it likes to mess with it. Otherswise Rainbow can be practically everywhere. Occasionally flares up with Carpinte and Leporinus. Runs from the Convict and Severum. *note Rainbow's colors haven't been this bright since the addition of the Carpinte

Carpinte- Newest addition. Roams the entire tank, will post up on left side of tank until it gets chased by Convict and occasionally by Rainbow. Flares up at the Lep, until lep or convict chases her away. Also flares up at rainbow. Most Voracious eater of tank.

sorry for length just being a lil thorough hehe. Also have a tiger barb who hides behind a fake plant, occasionally hiding in a rock cave until one of the bigger fish comes close.

well......my oldest clown loach shoehorns into the 3/4" pvc then sticks his spines out so he's hard to shake loose.....

Need some 1" pvc :grinno:

mine swin in the water they also eat and poop alot

i love the way my three jelly beans stick together when the convict pair try to defend their turf and charge one of the jelly beans and all three jelly beans then charge back at the convicts and they go back and forth until they're all tired and settle back to their corners for the next round i guess.
