What does every1 keep with their Fire Eels?

6 Discus, about 30 zebra danios, 11 clown loaches, 2 oto's, 2 african butterflys and a redtail shark. Used to have a couple of rope fish and bgk as well.
 
Still stuck as to what to put with my fire eel :( at present I've got him in with 15 demasoni 8 yellow labs and 4 socolofi lol yes I know it's not the best idea keeping him with cichlids but thy cichlids are goig so I can get some bigger fish lol I like the idea of the paroon but they get huge, how long would a paroon last in a 120?
 
Dither Fish (recommended by a friend), Zebra Danios, platies, guppies and a few bristlenose plecos and synodontis catfish. The Fire Eel loves this-puts him at ease, hand feeds, very tame. 90 gallon tank with ultra smooth S-grade 3M Colorquartz-bigger home required later....

A Paroon....I can't see that working out long term IMO but hey, you never know! I have a Paroon and they will need 1000 gallons plus at some point.

So far I'm dead certain I'll put a stingray in with him, love the bgk too so at present they will be the future friends but I'd like something that preferablly swims in shols that Are really active ain't going to be eaten by the eel, ray or bgk or eat the eel ray or bgk and look good obviously in a dream world a group of piranhas would be perfect except for the mayhem that would go on in the tank lol
 
Tiger barbs, IT Datnoids, and a Rainbow Shark. I had a Synodontis Angelicus with the eel but they always quarreled with each other. Fire Eel is 10", barbs are full size, dats are babies and shark is 4".
 
i use my eel tank as a grow out tank cuz it wont bother any fish and only eats frozen shrimp
