I always post From Wild parents if I post F1 due to the above quoted statement ;)
 
F0 is used in the hobby to denote wild caught fish, in which case the 0 refers to the individuals not having a filial (sibling) relation (an assumption). In genetics, the proper term is P1 (parental generation) and the subsequent generations are F1, F2, and so on.
