What does it mean when some post "BUMP"

i see them on a lot of forums when theres a sall going on they post bump?

also i see "TTT"

can anyone break this down for me since i seem to be new here? thanks

it is just to make that a thread that is being unnoticed comes back again to the firts page in the new threads..its a post revival, for lack of better words

if you put bump it pushes your post backup to the top. in the hope someone else will answer although your post maybe crap it will just sink down into the pits of hell where it belongs

Exactly and TTT is To The Top.. To get your thread more exposure in a fast moving part of the forum where it may have been missed.
