Have not been able to locate ANYBODY who has ever seen a Leporinus moralesi or a Lep. desmotes, even literature is spotty at best, yet I have one of each. They were "contaminants." Same goes for my Barbodes callipterus.

I would say that Pelmatochromis Nigrofasciatus is a pretty rare fish as far as people owning them. I own two and the store where I work has one. Outside of these three I have never seen one or heard of anyone owning one.

you know its rare when u search google for images and u get back 16 results, most of which aren't the actual fish http://images.google.com/images?svnum=10&hl=en&gbv=2&q=Leporinus+moralesi&btnG=Search+Images

This is one of my two ULTRA RARE Leporinus (Thus far, these are the ONLY known ones in existence in aquaria.)

Here is the Leporinus desmotes.

I will get some of the Leporinus moralesi in a little bit. Doing water changes right now.
