Sorry but due to this snow storm i lost my internet connection so i will post them tommorrow if i can.here are s few pics that i managed to upload so you can see the dramatic difference :WHOA:

If each photo is doing this and your on auto everything then do a master reset back to defaults. Its probably just the White Balence since the highlights are over blown.

Well-
Whats the new camera.....

Have no clue on the old....Maybe image processor got out of line....

The new camera is HP with 3.6 inch touch screen instead of buttons ;)8 mega pixels-- 3x's optical --8x's digital --24x's total zoom.. :D but i still would like to use this older one on outside trips etc instead of bringing the new one around and losing it etc.

do you know what white balance is? the photo would not look like this if the WB was overblown. it could be that your settings got messed up somehow..the picture of your doberman looks like the exposure was too low..

it looks to me like it may be either the lense, or the image processor. you should contact HP and ask if they do repairs.

yes i know what white balance is..i just tried all the different settings for white balance..going to check the pics now..thanks DAN..i will see if any pics look better with the different white balance settings.. i called HP yesterday..they said buy a new one.. Oh well tried all that plus lowered the mega pixels down to 3 and still some come out normal and some are negative looking ..time to toss it ..as long as it is not an easy fix such as battery or memory card etc no sense bothering with it anymore.. thanks for all your help ...I wore my camera out......................hahaOn MFK!!!!!

i took pics of the fish this am..no lights on in the tank..all the pics came out okay although i only had it set at 3 mega pixels..this is how they looked with light from the snow storm.. so it is something to do with light that is certain..
