what does your knife love to eat?

I am trying to get my ck to eat hikari cichlid gold pellets, but it won't touch them. The knife is 4-5 inches and so far it only eats blood worms and feeders. I feed it guppies or baby rosy minnows once a week after gutting the feeders on frozen krill, freeze-dried bloodworms and flake food.

When I put krill in the main tank tank, its the only fish that won't eat it. How can I get it to eat the pellets?
 
how many times do u feed? best bet is to starve um . or fish train um(add like 3 fast eaters near its size.)

idk but i feed mine everyday twice.. even if its choice of feeders..

how many carnivore pellets do you guys feed your BGK?? daily.

Mine eats them too. Also likes frozen bloodworms, hikari sinking pellets, and even swims to the top of the tank to steal some of my arowana's hikari floating pellets. I haven't really found anything he won't eat yet.
 
Well, mine was a little picky at 1st. I had to slowly introduce new foods, now he eats all kinds of stuff. Eating the algae wafers was a suprise to me.
 
mine loves tilaphia strips
 
hikari mysis shrimp. big enough to sink to the bottom of the tank and not make a mess like brine. i try to feed my ck once a day, or every other day. and if his belly looks empty or if he's trynna get my attention i'll feed him.

my gck loves feeders too (he'll eat um until it looks like he's gonna explode), but i ban feeders from my tank cause the lfs had some sick ones that got my fish sick :irked:
