what does your sump look like

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Mine is home made, no where near as neat as that one; but I guess as long as it works.

bahahahhaha

Mine is a 300 gallon Rubbermaid stock tank. It is under my tank in the crawl space. I put it there before I built the house.

An Iwaki MD-100 RLT pump powers all the filtration and the return. Filters include:
Six-Biowheel DIY
Bucket-o'-Bioballs DIY wet-dry
Merlin fluidized bed filter
Ancient Eheim 2017 with an irreplaceable broken impeller

I also have it set up so I can add tempered well-water from the house without having to go down in the crawl space. There is a sump pump for the overflow that empties to the septic system.

LOLz, right next to the rice cooker, nice!!!

Indeed. Lol.
That wasn't actually the sump for that tank. I just threw it together real quick out of spare stuff I had lying around. I was testing the makeshift bulkhead fittings I installed on that 1g tank.
I ended up building a wet/dry in a 5g home depot bucket for that tank. Lol.
Ill see if I can find the pics.
