just dont feed it goldfish anymore the new tig i just picked up has been 2 weeks now without food

eat or die the choice is his

Hard to do with expensive fish. But I follow the same policy... :)

has anyone ever had a fish starve rather than eat ?????
 
I have been feeding mine live nightcrawlers, hikari carnivore sinking pellets, and hikari massivore pellets. It eats a feeder fish occasionally if there are some in the tank ~Trent
 
Had a fish starve rather than eat? No not me, I find usually if offering a variety of foods they will accept one of them. I find which may be obvious that something like market shrimp(blood worms for smaller fish) is usually more appealing than a pellet.
