The only place I heard "jest" used is in Shakespeare!

It could also mean vague. Meaning never black or white but inbetween, never picking a side.

Okay, thanks guys but no cigar.

1) It's a female, so sexual preference wouldn't be insulting, it would just be hot.

2) I threw out the boring, old and in-between definitions and she said that wouldn't make any sense. Still no clues as to what would make sense as I can't get out of her what context the statement was made.

3) I was just going to make something up, but I can't think of anything good that sounds authentic. Any suggestions?
