what eats tadpoles?

Your koi should take care of most frog tadpoles but like Oddball mentioned toad tadpoles are toxic. I've seen my fish eat a couple but they quickly learn to avoid toad tadpoles. No biological control available for those guys. I like to stock dojo loachs to out compete the tadpoles(they have a very similar diet)

Fence in the pond with chicken wire or other small mesh. Catch them and sell the legs to a local restaurant. Grind the rest of the meat up and mix with corn meal for catfish dough bait. You'll make a small fortune. :)

My dad had a frog lay eggs/tadpoles in his pond (small pond - ~200 gallons) There's 2 red eared slider turtles in there and not a single tadpole made it past the point where they started budding legs before the turtles eventually ate them all. For what its worth, there's also about a dozen Comet goldfish in there(2"-6"), but I think it was mostly the turtles.
