What else can I use?

I am curious. What foods do you guys use to power feed your Pbass? I know the normal stuff. Feeders, crickets, worms, pellets, yada yada yada. Whats your secret Pbass growth explosion food!?

krill and pellets are the best color enhancers but gut loaded minnows will make them grow fast....tongue i agree they get really vibrant with live foods but the different between color from krill and pellets and color from live foods is that pellets is a balanced diet and when you stop feeding them live the cichlas color fades as with pellets the color stays

What about if you feed a combination of both?

its not always easy to get cichla to constantly jump back and forth from live to pellets unless live foods are being given to them once a month usually as treats

I found that feeders got pricey so I use live tubifex worms 2-3 times a day...and before I started starvin i was goin through a good 6 oz's of worms per week...about an ounce of worms per bass per week.
