What else would you add to my 180 gallon

Well the new 180 is set up just waiting on some manzanita driftwood and maybe do some rock work.

Ehiem 2217 and ehiem 2262

The stock is:

16 columbian tetras
9 peppered cories
5 red head geophagus
4 bolivian rams
3 angelfish
2 electric blue acaras
1 blue phantom pleco

What else would you add?

Other than some rock work, especially if you end up male heavy with the geos, nothing. That stock will fill the tank nicely once they get some size to them.

I have a ton of java fern in my 75 if I did plants that would be the only plants I'd add but I'm leaning towards non planted just manzanita driftwood and river rocks

Those geos take forever to grow prob got .75-1 inch growth in 3 months

Agree with this, the tank may seem sparse now, but once the Geo's put on even semi-adult size it will not.

Manzanita that rises up in the tank, will bring the tetras higher up in the water column.

Personally I think a tank is not complete without a catfish and plecos don’t count but that’s just my $0.01
