Personally I think a tank is not complete without a catfish and plecos don’t count but that’s just my $0.01

I was thinking a pictus catfish but not sure the absolute min schooling size or if I'd try 1 out by himself

I would leave a sev out, but your call. You have a nice mix of fish, sometimes one more fish is all it takes to upset the status quo.
