:ROFL::ROFL::ROFL:.

The most exotic thing i have ever fed my baby rbp's would have to be a betta. I had 3 extra bucks so i figured why not? It was quite the show.:popcorn:

I own predators because occasionally I do like to watch them hunt and kill their prey. The only live foods I ever feed my preds are earthworms or feeder fish.

I think its sadistic to feed them mice, frogs, large fish, etc. It takes too long for them to die and they suffer too much.

/End derailment

The most exotic thing i've ever fed my preds would be a crayfish. I picked the smallest one in the tank hoping my rhom wouldn't eat em. Didn't last a day :irked:

of course, any brave swimmer is fair game. how long did it last in the tank?

my freezer is stocked with Shrimp, Tilapia, and Smelt

I couldn't find smelt for some reason, where do you get them from?
I stock my freezer with shrimp, tilapia and squid but I keep finding them ended up on my dinner plate, thanks to my wonderful wife.
right now my blue is hooked on the oscars I got for free from a lfs, after that I'll try to get him on dead.

Ok I feed my 2 P's tropical granules and every so often maybe 2x a week beefheart. I've been thinking about feeding them chicken hearts left over from when i cook chicken gizzards (they come packaged together hearts and gizzards) but i just freeze and save the hearts for when i go fishing but still its alot of hearts that isnt used when i fish. what do you guys think about feeding them cleaned (fat pulled off) chicken hearts. I also have 2 bichirs in the same tank and they are fine together so far

Also what about fruits and veggies?

You can also try to grill those chicken hearts, season them with salt and whatever herbs and spice you like. taste pretty good if you do it right.
