What feeders to breed?

Hi guys, my thread got deleted, i think it was from the update. I was wondering what kind of fish i should breed to feed my ctenopoma acutirostre. I want a fish that breeds often with a large amount of fry, and can live happily in a smaller tank (>20 gallons). Thanks

Convicts have spines. Also, he'd have to feed them ALL at a very young age-soon enough the convicts will fight the ctenopoma.

cool. would a pair of convicts work in a 20? because i cant get a tank bigger than that.
