What filter do you recommend???

I'm loking for a filter to replace my Whisper powerfilter 60 and was wondering if anybody could give me some suggestions. Should I buy another powerfilter 60 or should I get an AC 110 or something else? I'm looking for something that runs as quiet as possible.

Are they pretty quiet? The room the tank is going in has tile and everything echos.

yeah, they're quite. just keep your water level pretty high and you shouldn't have any trouble. compared to my penguine 350, emperor, and misc. other cheap hang ons the ac's have been the best for noise and performance (for me anyway).

Ive got a AC110 thats noisy even after I replace the impeller and cleaned the housing. By far the quitest filter youre gonna get is a canister.

Go with a canister, they are so much more efficiant than HOB's. Fluval makes the best canisters IMO. What size tank is it going on?

Thanks for the input....I have a cannister already, but I want to run 2 filters.
