A pool filter or a sump would be your best betHay I'm getting a above ground pool pond and it's 18 feet long and 48in high and 6000 something gallons and was wondering what filter can filter that much
Well pools usually ARE that many gallons, I would say get one rated for atleast 12,000 gallons, the more the better depending on the stock (are you have a red tail catfish and arapaima and bass and other large fish or are you having smaller fish)Cool so a pool filter can work good enough for that many gallons
eh, 9,000 gallons might not be enough depending on what he is housing and how heavily stocked it is.Nexus 320 filter
Based on experience, it will definitely be enough for a 6000 gal pond.eh, 9,000 gallons might not be enough depending on what he is housing and how heavily stocked it is.
I guess it could be, depending upon the stock, is it a 6,000 gallon pond with 10 koi in it or is it a 6,000 gallon pond with a few red tail catfish and an arapaimaBased on experience, it will definitely be enough for a 6000 gal pond.
