My 2009 mitsubishi eclipse gt outruns a porsche....

20inch black rims , cool air , methanol injection other upgrades.

Saved a TON of cash....

This is kinda like my tanks , for the price of an ehiem i have a home built sump , 2 powerheads , fx5 and rena xp3......

Get an fx5 off ebay. Or a sun sun , they have 569gph and they are only 100$

lol really....(blinks a few times) Did you honestly just compare a mitsubishi to a porsche :ROFL::ROFL::ROFL::ROFL:

As to the OP I like the notion of two AC110's should do the trick for you. If you are really into the canister idea I bet a Xp3 would tie you over however I recommend a powerhead to assist with the aeration in the tank and to help stir stuff up for the canister to work more efficiently.

XF5 - $100
XF5 - $200ish

I read it twice to make sure I wasn't seeing false numbers.:screwy: My local Big Al's is selling them for $340 CDN! You link me an XF5 for $200 or under and I'll buy it in a heart beat. I dont recall ever seeing one for less then $280 and that might have been used.

What's this CK code everybody is posting?

its a code for drfostersmith.com. it will give you a cheaper price for a fish filter than the one listed. go to the fish section, selcet filters, the selcet rena cansiter filters. using your mouse, highlight the cd-123456 number, right click, selcet copy. then go to the search bar abov eon the same page, right click, select paste, then change the cd-123456 to ck-123456. hit enter and voila. its magic.

I have a Rena XP4 on a 120gal with two oscars + a 12' pleco + a few JDS....LOL

crystal clear, or "crispy" waters as they like to say, all day. I think a XP3 should do, but for the xtra 30 bucks you could get an xp4
