Hey everybody just wondering what kind of filtration you guys are all using with your RAYS! Please include tank size and filter type... Thanks

My setup

Pond 7000 litre water minimum (approx) indoor pond
Filtration: swimming pool filtration, water treatment filtration, 1 eheim 2260, 5 70 litres plastic container with 3000 litre per hour pump or each filled with japmats, bioball etc

Tank 1100 litre
Filtration; wet/dry sump with 3000 ltr per hour pump sumps size is about 100 litre, filled with biioball, japmatss
Resun ef2800u about 750 gallon per litre filled with full bio media
1800 ltr per hour internal filter with sponges for current effect, and 1500 ltr per hour internal with additional bio ring.

tank size 8 long x 6 wide x 3 deep

sump 6x2x2

pumps 2 x 18,000 lph

UV 4 x 25w

24/7 water change via HMA filter changes 200 gal per day

will be adding a 40 inch tall sand filter this weekend that can handle a 7,000 gal pond with a 5,000 lph pump to run it

think thats it :D

My redo 325 (72x36x28) Plus a large wetdry filter system including bioballs, sponge, carb, amo pads, bio chem zorb, & matrix maybe? Plus may do a refugium planted in sump to remove nitrates? Also thinking of adding a uv.
Then a new C530 canister filter. Air/sponge filter & wave pump will be added.

lol, I'm one of them but maybe I'm just a lucky one.
24" pool sand filter, 50 gal bio-reactor with 4 1/2 cubic feet of kaldness, 2 7"x 32" sock filters at 50 microns, 2 pumps @ 6500gph and 5500 gph which will be upgraded soon, and a very large air pump. I will be adding another sand filter or ultima shortly also. The tank is 2200 gallons.

Best to be safe than sorry with a UV
