What filtration do you use???

600 gallon with 9o gallon sump,pump runs 5400 gph(gonna upgrade size of sump tank)
fx5 running on it too....wet dry trickle system bio-balls

200 plywood with 90 gallon sump wet dry trickle 3500 gph pump
240 gallon with 2 fx5
180 gallon 1 fx5 2 fluval 4 inside the tank
150 gallon 1 fx5
75 gallon baby stingray tank rena xp4 and aqua 500 hang on back filter
smaller tanks 5 in total have aqua 500 on them
 
Okay I know a little about UVs & I'm in the fish business but I never personally used one myself. What type are you using & the pros/cons about the brand? There is a lot of them available these days. (i plan on getting one for my pond project this spring also)

Not much point in using a pont UV as they work different to a tank UV

Pond = UVC which is a ultra violet clarifier so it just clears the green water and blanket weed

Tank = UVS which is a ultra violet steriliser which helps with parasites and green

Basically it's a UVS you want as they work different to a UVC as a UVS has a better contact time with the light you need to make sure you have the flow right on the UVS to fast and it won't do anything to slow and it will boil the water
