PP I like aros in general, but having seen an xback in person I can see that they are worth the money. It's a fish that has to be seen to truly appreciate, they are in another league to silvers etc

yes. unfortunately in the us, few people have actually seen one in person, let alone see show quality pieces.

I agree with everyone so far. The expense you wish to spend on a fish is on the taste of the owner. But some fish are pretty cool to have. Being a little bias, I have to recommend the unique and rare Australian Lungfish (Ceratodus). Each one comes with a certificate from the Australian Government, Micro-Chipped and CITES certified. With such documentation and rarity in the United States, I would hope that the Aquatic Hobbyist would like acquire the luxury service that you would expect from a professional importer like myself to fulfill there High-End needs. For those interested, please do not hesitate to send me an e-mail. :)

This is going to get me mocked on a "monster fish" forum, but I really like celebes rainbowfish. They're colorful, active, and unique.

I loved my clown loach. I had to give him to a friend, because I didn't have a tank at the time that would handle him. Loaches are some of the niftiest fish around.

My Tropheus are worth every penny I paid for them. I'm looking forward to getting petrochromis.

beauty is in the eye of the beholder. You gotta understand people like different things and will pay high prices for them.
What one may find ugly, another may find beautiful. For example, girlfriends. I find one of my friends gfs butt ugly, i don't see anything in her, but to him she's everything.

My clown loaches are terrible. They would nip my goldfish fins, head caps and killed one of my goldfish. And yet, i still have them. And still love them. It's a love hate relationship.

Aros, rays, and dats are worth the money. They are truely magnificent fish. I love the way the move. They have they own personality.

Black Ghost Knife is the best inexpensive common oddball out there IMO

i want to by a tigrinus but have not see to sale here in my country :(
clowns are a fun to see better in groups
