Most people rest their prized breeders every month...What I mean by theis, is that after one spawn, they seperate the male and female and give them a break for a month.........As for feeders, owners breed these often as possible for the obviuos reasons.........For example, Convict Cichlid are notoriuos for breeding.....Personally, I have bred a pair three times within one month.........Red Devil/Midas, easily breed twice a month.......

If you're breeding them for the fry then convicts or jewel cichlids would be good.

If you just want them to "breed" often, then go with some sort of egg-scatterer like barbs, rainbows, or killies. Mine breed throughout the day, but I wouldn't get any fry if I didn't use a spawning mop.

For feeders I use Mollies 2 males 8 females it's a fry conveyor belt.

How big are your breeding mollies, what size tank?

I personally like convicts, by far the easiest fish to breed for me. I don't do anything except feed them and get eggs at least twice a week.

Guppies, mollies, platys, swords.
End Demo

Just as a note that should be "twice a month" not week. Thats what I get for not proof reading - I look like an idot. :banhim: lol
