What fish can I breed in a 20gal long???

You could breed convict cichlids easily. My pair had 5 spawns in a 20 long. A 29 is recommended for a pair, but a 20 long has the same footprint and convicts usually don't swim a foot above the gravel.

I would say kribs. nice fish, good at looking after fry and stay small
