What fish do you desire?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
They have a new fish called electric blue ram. They're like $25 wholesale:eek:. I seen them in person and they are beautiful fish but I'd kick myself if I got a bunch and they die on me for no known reason just like GBRs.

Big fish. I actually have splash tetra in one of my personal tanks and they are my favorite tetra personality wise. They have no fear of me from day one and are always bitting my hand thinking its food. Would get some to sell but most people wouldn't get them since they're not that colorful and don't really look great in large numbers.

What's everyones take on Uarus. I like them but don't see many people talking about them. Plan on getting some anyway once available.

Uaru's are nice. I keep a few of them but they are not real big sellers. If you are on a central system they are pretty ick sensitive as well. I wouldn't keep more then 6-8 at a time. They will either go real quick or you will have them for a year.

I WILL SADE THAT YOU SHOULD KEEP FLOWERHORNS,RED DEVIL,OSCARS,AROWANAS,CAT FISHES,SEVERUM ESPECIAL THE GOLD WHIT RED SPOTS,AND SOME SIAMESE TIGER FISHES.

i would love to get some splash tetras....

like jgentry said uarus (mainly at small sizes which are easiest to fine) almost always get ich... i have one that i got when he was 5" and now he's 8" and i love him... been wanting more but could never find more... lfs kept getting them in at 1" and they would all die in a week... finally found a 2" uaru that a lfs had for about 3 months... got him and he's doing fine ever since...

i would love to find uaru sp. "orange" or uaru fernandezyepezi but dont want to risk loosing them at a small size

I would REALLY recommend trying to get some shipping supplies. If you can ship, you open yourself up to everyone, plus it wouldn't be all that expensive to start out.

I'm not sure if you're looking for any non american cichlid suggestions, but shelldwellers would probably be nice. If you could have like some sort of video on your site of them doing what they do, also with information on how small a tank they can thrive in, they'd probably sell fast. Plus none of the LFS in No. VA i've been to have had any.

Shellies, bichirs (especially sens since they're cheap), red severums, or anything that stays small and is colorful.

If you do end up shipping, and get cheap ornate bichirs in, count me in as a customer. :D

Hoplias malabaricus aka wolf fish. I would devote my whole tank to this fish. They are awesome eaters, and they will tear up pretty much any live food you put in the tank. They get really nice color schemes when they grow. They are just awesome fish but no one around here sell em.
