When I shake my oscars food bag he gets really excited and swims over to the front of the tank and starts "eating" imaginary peices of food.

I like my scat because it will eat from my hand. He is all over the place in there tank and is constantly looking for food or something to nip on.

cute stories... i love all the individual personalities..

its a tie between my angel and BN plec.
the angel is always in the front of the tank watching me. he's actually watching me type this lol. he is very peaceful... the way he watches me makes me think he would rather be outside the tank hovering around my head... he's very cute lol.

the BN plec will sometimes just sit in one spot and watch me, and when i move a bit he'll flip out those huge cheek odontodes of his... he's very aggressive though and flips out the cheek spines when any other fish come within 3 inches of him.

in the sw tank.... its not really a fish, but, the banded coral shrimp shrkes his claws at people walkin by the tank, and at the cat when she watches the fish... its pretty funny.

my female motoro stingray has the most personality out of all the fish i have ever owned.

when i come into the room she will come to the front of the tank and just stare at me..when i move to the side of the tank, she will follow. sometimes she will even stand up on here pelvic fins and walk....YES WALK!!! across the bottom of the tank to me!.
she reminds me of a new born taking her first steps. i even took a picture of her walking across the tank..

My current fish that I have with the most personality would have to be my Powder Blue Dwarf Gourami, Kix (also my profile pic).

A few months ago, my roommate and I were convinced he was going to die a month after I bought him from a PetSmart. From my years of fish keeping I had never seen anything like what he was doing. Even the people at a local fish store had no idea. I had about had it after 2 days of watching him suffer when I did a water change and he made a miraculous comeback. We changed his full name to Kix Death's Door Laughing.

Anyway, every morning he would dutifully be under the hood door waiting to be fed or trying to get my attention my swimming madly up and down the side of the tank. This little guy has definitely got a spot in my heart along with the other Dwarf Gouramis I had several years ago. Fascinating fish with an over abundance of curiosity in their surroundings.

My male chocolate is a genuine dude.. He's toughed it out through some sticky situations, and still comes to the top of his tank every time I walk by to greet me, more likely just to get some food from me! My gf and even my mom never seemed to understand my interest in fish, but they both say he is such a sweetheart when he lets them pet him, and don't care about any of the others but. I'm glad he's still young, cause I love my mean little sob's in the big tank, but this guys got personality.. fish personality.

my oscar...whenever im in the room he is begging for food, and attacking the bubbles on top of the tank...i would also have to say my clown loaches are interesting, more than once i thought they were dead only to realize they like sleeping on their sides.
