What Fish Do you OWN that has the MOST Personality?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Growing up my Dad always loved tropical fish, but among the scads of them we had a Green Terror who by far had tons of personality. The typical recognizing people, begging for food, and staring people face to face who stared at it. Quite funny when non-hobbyists took a glance! We also had a few Clown Loaches that I remember always enjoying, but that was partially due to their interesting natural behaviours.

i dont know how many wolf fish have been mentioned in this thread, but now 1 has

my baby mala wolf seems to have his own.

since i work 2 hours away, so im gone for 3 nights, he gets very mad if i dont get back home by like noon on the 4th day he won't come out or, only eat and he wont do that if im there.

but, if i get home early like 6-10am, he is so happy. he will wake up swim over to the glass wave his tail like a over excited dog. basicly like saying hi, whats up how was work, then he goes back to sleep for alittle bit, then i will come in before i go to bed for feeding, he is all like hey food! and u need to go to bed. lol he knows when the living room lights go out, its food time and im going to sleep. he will make sure to be awake for half the day before i go to bed to see me, he also swims or sits in end of the tank so he can see into the living room at look at me.

HE EVEN MOVED HIS CAVE closer to the end so he can lay in it to and still see me .

love that little guy.

o he loves eating coments to lol. and my i let my sister stock a 10g at my place and my wolf will watch them at night and swim at the glass and tease em like he is going to attack since they are by each other. he cracks me up. lol

my blood parrot acts like the toddlers i babysit. always hungry and always wants to be seen. i think that might change though, the bumble bee gobies might have more personality

The fish capture us and then release us sometimes to notice another charming personality popping up..for instance i am crazy about my clown knife... but the fire eel has taken the lead... he jumps up and grabs the shrimp..fearless and relentless.. and appetite that doesn't quit. yes he is in the spot light now:D
