WHAT FISH DO YOU RECOMMEND???

the parrot died of gill disease, they reckon the ck just died of old age because they couldnt find anything wrong with it.
i get my wagter checked on a weekly basis as well as checking it myself (but i dont trust that) theres never anything wrong with the water...thats what worries me lol.
the lobster was in a different tank because when i put the bag in for him to adjust to the water when i first got him, the frontosas started circling him, and i thought to myself...hmmmm maybe i will put him in another tank...so he went in there but the temp dropped by 2 degrees and i think that must have been what killed him.

sorry anout writing an essay there, just thought id explain myself, i love fish and spent way to much money on them to be a fish killer lol

thanks

Fish dying but you are doing nothing wrong? And yet fish keep dying? And now an invert is dead after a single day. By CK do you mean Clown Knife. I have a Clown Knife that turned 20 this year. That's 20 years old. Bought him when I was 15. I doubt he died of old age. I have a pleco that's 15. I just lost an angel that was 6. I had angels that lived to be 8 before. Again, I'm talking years. When you can't find something wrong, don't assume old age.

This is why I posted this in the pet peeves thread.

I have to agree here, I'm not calling you a liar or anything but there must be another reason as to why your fish are dying. Everyone has had unexplainable deaths at one time or another but not back to back to back. Could be something simple, could be something complex, just keep looking into it.

believe me, im doing all i can! yes i meant clown knife, and i didnt assume old age my lfs did. dont think im guna get any more fish anyway. no point i spose, they keep dying and i keep losing money that i dont have...and to be honest, only 2 fish died in a week and then the lobster was in his own tank.
could be stress, i have a 2 year old that seems to think it hilarious to play peek-a-boo with them...it wasnt! the tanks now behinf the sofa

I think the water is going to be the key issue, could be something with your local water supply. I don't think peekaboo will stress them to death :D

a lot of times these kind of deaths could be based on some sort of internal parasites or something like that which doesn't always show outward symptoms.

:nilly:peakaboo could stress the fish if you have an ugly face:nilly:

what i would do at the moment is keep doing 25-30% weekly water changes and feed a good quality food to the fish once a day and skip one day totally a week and feed nothing:eek: no food arrrggh:nilly:

hows the fileration on the tank?
maybe the lobster came from different water type? never kept these so not sure bout them!!!!!
