I found so much tiny white worms and bugs in my fish tank, on the substrate or crawling on glass. After research, i learned that these are called"planaria, copeled... which are all types of crustaceans".
Since it is impossible to get rid off them, (I have gravel vac, but i also have sand and coarse gravel as substrate), so i wonder what fish eat them, giant danio?

ya, i fed 10x a day since i picked up carpintis, and kkp's deformed mouth caused food to sink and decay.
algae scrubber doesn't seem to work cuz there are uncountable amounts of them and most of which are on substrate, not glass.

Gravel vac even better, get every single bit of gunk. And only feed a small amount once every day or 2 for a few wks. Don't get another fish to 'clean up' the problem of over-feeding and not gravel vaccuming enough. You'll just add to your problems.

i have sand as substrate, it will vac sand together, thats the problem.

The beauty of bare bottom tanks. All my tanks have no substrate. :D Also, just cut back on feeding to 2-3 times a day in small portions. Also, how often are you gravel vaccuming the sand? If you do it everyday there should not be an issue.

i tried, i have gravel vac, it vacs the white sand cuz too light, so if i use gravel vac, the sand will be gone, maybe its time to get rid off sand and tank xD

I always wondered about freshwater clayfish.. (lobster) i mean.. they are good cleanup crews... only thing is.. they might try to hunt a fish.... i've never actually tried again cuz one time i brought one home and within 2secs my Oscars were all over it.. (8inch oscars)

they are a type of worm i thought...and personal experience has show platties to devour all "squiggly lines" in my tanks LOL
