In my 125 Gal I currently have a breeding colony of 25 Red Hump Geos, a pair of Elliot Cichlids (very similar to Firemouthes), a Pair of Blue Dempseys and a Black Ghost Knife... All fish are at least sexually mature... The Geos and the Elliots spawn regularly...

Years ago I used this tank as an Apisto Cac Colony tank... where I also grew out young Blue Dempseys... But this sdoesn't sound like what you are interested in...

Up until a couple of years ago I rotated different medium adult Cichlids in it from my fishroom.

Here it is with an Adult Oscar, Breednig Pair of Leucistic Dempseys, female Trimac, Female Green Terror... probably a BGK... probably some W African Jewels... maybe a coupel others....

Here it is about 10 years ago. I was trying to get my ex into fish so I let her decorate it. I haven't made that mistake again...

geo tank man i love re head i got 1 in a 55 and 1 in a 60 cube had to seperat geting way to mean i would love to breed them i am liking the tanks

-4-6 SDs
-1-3 Boulengerella Pike-characins
-1-2 Amazon cichlids like Oscars, Caquetia spectabilis or pike cichlids
-1 Leporinus, Flagtail, or Black Ghost Knife
-Plecos
-1-3 medium catfish like Rapheals, Pims, etc...
