With goldfish, they'll grow as fast as you feed them.. But I assume you'd want something a little better.

The 3 fastest growing fish I have ever kept are Arapaima ( 9in to 33in in 6mos), Alligator gar ( 8in to 38in in 1st year), and Red Tailed Catfish (2in to 22in in 3mos) Also... I remember a tiny Tig(2in) growing over 1.5 inches within the same day.
