WOULD LOVE TO BREED ZEBRA PLECOS BUT WHO CAN AFFORD A SMALL GROUP OF THEM HERE IN AUSTRALIA WAY TO PRICEY FOR ME.

dwarf gouramis. . . if I could find any females I'd do it again.
rainbow cichlids. . . saw a pair about ready to breed in the store and brought them home. eventually fed the fry to my oscar.
angels. . . my current project. I've gotten eggs, but no fry. I just set up a separate breeding tank so as soon as they lay the second batch I'm going to move the pair and hopefully get a real breeding program going.

in the future:
if the angel breeding goes well I want to get some mouthbrooding cichlids. either a harem of peacocks or some haplochromis burtoni if I can find them.
. . . and if I had the room I'd try arowanas. One of these days I'll finally build a monster tank and at least keep some.

First time around as a fishkeeper - Guppies, Mozambique mouthbrooders (tilapia), Angels (by accident!), Dwarf Gouramies - fry didn't survive - and probably some other livebearer! Only tilapia made it to adults, had loads of them!

Second time around, Platies and Cons. Wanting to try Bristlenose and Congo tetras - just need the time and the tankspace.....
