What Fish is this--Looks like a carp/masheer/barb

its not a big red finned cigar, the body shape is totally different.

not quite sure what it is. it has the shape of a big bala, but the colour is different..

I think M|L had a species which looked similar to this fish, especially the mouth, when it was back at 2"

Could it be a hard lipped barb? Those pictures make it difficult to positively I.D
