What fish is this??

Unless they pair they will all be individuals. If they are really Frempongi they are rarely available. I got mine from J Rapps awhile back. I'll try to post a picture later tonight when i get home.

Same genus as jewels, Hemichromis, these are like larger cousins.

No, that's Hemichromis elongatus. Close, but different.

any of the 3, H. frempongii, elongatus or fasciatus could be referred to as 5 star generals...they're definitely different species but the generic common name could really apply to any of the 3...just like "red head cichlid" can refer to synspilum, bifasciatus or fenestratus.

well then what are these? This is exactly what I have just instead of blue tipped there red tipped. Idk if thats just the camera
