this is correct.................... they get to be a beautiful color as they mature.....especially if a male.. the color is very intense sometimes.. and then very bla..... it is awesome to watch them.

It looks like a female to me. It should get about 4". It should be very easy to find a male as they are by far the most common Lake Victoria cichlid in the hobby.
