Feeder goldfish? I know my dovii has eaten/killed everything I ever put in the tank, so don't spend a lot on your feeders... I mean dithers lol.

and don't feed them goldfish as feeders either. Goldfish and Rosey Reds are about the worst thing live fish wise, that you can feed your fish.

I do it occasionally with thoroughly quaruntined goldies as part of a varied diet. I feed more pellets and worms than anything else. This is totally off topic, so I'll stop.

Any fish will make a good dither for a dovii just not for more than a few minutes...

thanks guys. i was also thinking silver dollars as well. i just didnt know if it should be other semi aggressive cichlids or what. thanks for the info!!!!!
