What fish pair would you rather have????

I quess i am in the minority by voting other but I just don't like the bad guys anymore. Tired of the nipped fins, sudden deaths and whatnot. I would rather have a pair geo's, Hero's Notatus, Chocolate, Urau etc... and at least try to be able to enjoy the tank. Slowly I've gotten away from most of the more aggresive Centrals over the last year or two.

I chose festae, and Other. My other would be lyonsi. They're beautiful, and an endangered species... what's not to like about breeding those!

I have also been pulling away from the big cichlid brutes. There are some very nice cichlids that make for a great community tank without the high aggression. There are some species of Geos that i would love to breed. But I still keep a little space for the Bad Boys!

I too picked Festae. I have pairs of Festae, Dovi, Umbee, Grammode, and Cuban. I also picked other. Although I love the big brutes, I am really starting to love the Vieja and Paratheraps. So my other would go to the Argentea, Zonatum, Bifasciatum, Regani.
