i have been looking at these in my LFS and really liked them. wots their temprmant and diet, would you recomend getting one smaller than my oscar?

i have seen these in my LFS and really like them. Would you recomend getting one smaller than my oscar to cut down on dominent aggresion
I've personally never had them, but I've been thinking of getting some in the future. From what I can find out, they aren't very aggressive. The Oscar will get bigger than them. These guys average around 8" A group of them looks awesome and a sand subtrate would be good for them and more enjoyable so you can see their "earth eating" ways.
how many gallons is 600l? the ck alone will be about the only fish that tank can hold when full grown right or wrong?
