what fish to cycle a tank with..help

hey guys what fish are good to cycle a tank with?

zebra danios. For some reason, they can survive the nitrogen cycle and everything better than other fish. You might be able to use other types of danios, but I've only tried zebras.

I have just used cheap ammonia in the past. If you have a test kit, the process in pretty simple. I am sure there is a write up on fishless-cycling somewhere on here!

yeah i used giant danios not a single death, fishless cycle is better though

Throw in a dead shrimp.

Convicts and enjoy them while they help built the cycle in your tank. They have the Napoleon complex.
