What fish to get

I have a 50 gallon tank with a fluval 304 canister
fish
6" african catfish
2" cory
2.5" convict male i think

I don't know what else to get some advice please

hmmm. well, sounds like the convict could possibly end up on the menu for the cat. how long have they been together?

Need to ID the cat as some of these guys get too big for a 50gallon...

if its a jaguar cat it will out grow your tank. if its a african featherfin they to i think will out grow the tank. so minus the catfish you should upgrade the corys to 6x or more as there schooling fish. and you could get another cichlid, get a firemouth.

The cat is 13 years at 6 inchs. i will get a pic shortly... cory loves the cat

Well I knew the cat was 6 inches, but not the age. Makes all the difference in the world.

Depending on species, a 6" catfish could have a 4" mouth and the convict could be in danger. This "African catfish" might be some sort of syno, in which case the other fish are probably pretty safe. I would definitely add 5 or more cories as they like groups.
