OK this is probably not in the right spot, so mods, please move if needed. I have two questions-- I plan on getting a peacock eel and a black ghost knife fish. Can I keep a common pleco with them, and if not, is there a pleco that is better suited to live with them?
Could I keep a pair of red finned boreylis(I know that's not spelled correctly) with them? thanks.

yeah i know. but my question was can i keep a peacock eel with a common pleco? I am trying to do my research and read where they like to eat the slime coat off of the eels? And if that is true, what kind of pleco can live with an eel? And if red fins won't work with an eel, how about angelfish? I could really use some help here, I plan on shopping this weekend as I live 2.5 hours from a town and I get to go to town this weekend!!. thanks

u could but i would keep a eye one them.

I have a BN Pleco living with a ZZ Eel.

But what kind of pleco really is up to the tank size as many of them can get rather large.

IMO, a full grown common pleco would be unable to eat the slime off a full grown peacock eel due to size issues. Otos are a great fish in general, but would get eaten by your ghost knife.

Your combo sounds good. Make sure you get the peacock eel frozen bloodworms to eat as these rarely take prepared foods, even if the LFS tells you otherwise. 9/10 they are lying. Your angel fish particulalry if young will also benefit from bloodworms in their diet as juvies. Ottos are schooling fish so make sure to get a min of 3. imho a bristle nose, or clown pleco would be the best choices with the eel and angels. both ime are heartier fish then ottos.
