What fish would you like to have but probably would/could never get?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
:headbang2 Zaire Blue Moba and Kapampa Frontosa's! :headbang2

The the Great White! :naughty: :headbang2
(This year I am planning a trip out to CA to fullfill a little dream of mine.....seeing 1 or more face to face in the water!) :naughty: :headbang2

Definitely the lungfishes due to size
Northern Pike--same issue
Sturgeon---size and availability/legality
not a fish but would love to keep the hellbender (giant aquatic slamanders), but impossible due to rarity and size (3 ft. or so)
Atlantic tarpon--size
Atlantic (SW) wolffish--size, availability
Last but not least, the giant squid (Architeuthis sp.) for obvious reasons!

Channa Barca is def a cool candidate for this thread... its a must have but the rarity and price of it is just too much.

The high end asian aros sounds very good too dixon. Actually , folks here in the us wouldnt turn down any asian aros. Theyre not rare, justt illegal.

I would love to get a bumble bee grouper from wes! That is one of the coolest freshwater fish to me, but I don't want to have to worry about trying to find a home for it when it gets too big and lost the $1000+ for the fish.

Fully mature breeding pair of any large snakehead. I dont have the huge tank they need for this, so it will be my dream and goals as a fish keeper.

Chili Red Asian-cost and legality
FO Moba Fronts-lack patience to grow up or money to buy
Red tail cat-size, could built a pond, but wouldn't work in IA
