what fish??

i have a 48x15x24 tank with a rena xp2 as a filter what fish you would you reccomend i have in it i have had malawi cichlids for the past 4 years but am getting bored of them now.

Its one of the thing where everyone can throw out a million ideas for u. BUT u need to elaborate a little more on ur taste to get gooood ideas. are u looking for colorful? natural look? fake plants and decor? planted? big or small fish? community agressive? breeding? ect

i like catfish and cichlids i think a oscar or pearsei cichlid with 1-2 medium sized catfish would look great

Oscar and pearsi get huge for that tank if i read it right. what abouth smaller cichlids but non africans? aquidens and dwarfs?
