The first two you list are a tie (since they are the same link :) )

I like the satelite more since it has a Lunar LED. It seems like novelty, but I like to be able to see my fish doing stuff in the dark.

oops  Fixed the link

What freshwater light setup is better? Both are 65 watts
I have a All-Glass top

I'm not sure about quality or what brands are better is why I ask.

This one here: 24" http://www.drsfostersmith.com/product/prod_display.cfm?c=3578+3733+9871&pcatid=9871

or this one: 24" (I think I like this one)http://www.drsfostersmith.com/product/prod_display.cfm?c=3578+3733+11418&pcatid=11418

or this I just found: 24" http://www.aquabuys.com/miva/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Product_Code=satellite_1x65_24&Category_Code=d2&Store_Code=aqb

Your second choice is a square pin base. I have that model and love it, but converted it to a straight pin. I've heard square pins are going to be hard to find. I know the squares are hard to find locally where I live. Lunar lights are great!

I'd recommend skipping the CF and going straight to the HO T5s. Cost of bulbs is ridiculous for CF fixtures.

:iagree:

How much are those for at least a 60watt ?

I can't afford the ones above, but I'm saving a little here and there from crap I'm selling out of my garage I don't need anymore :D

There's no way I can spend over $75 on just a light

I still got the same bulb in my florescent cheapo fixture I bought 4 years ago

60 watts of CF does not equal 60W of HO T5. The high output fixture will cost more, but it will be cheaper as soon as you need to replace the bulbs.
