What freshwater light setup is better?

why do you need such high output of light? are you doing a planted tank?

Since this is the Planted Tank and Aquascaping forum, I would say they are.

i have a coral life 65x2 cf setup... the light output if great im currently running a 20 long with co2 injection 11 hour light cycle as soon as i switched out my t5's for the cf's my plants took off.... im not saying its because of the light i have a lot more light than the t5 offered as well as a healthier dose of ferts now but the cf's do very well and hold up for a long time
