What gallon is my new tank?

How do you work out volume when the tank is not rectangular? I am organising getting a 6' tank that is 5 sided

um, take a geometry class?

See how many times it takes to fill the tank using 1 gallon buckets.
If say it takes you 120 times, you can figure it out.

haha. i HATED geometry and trig, but i loved algebra and calc

just show me numbers that aren't straight addition and subtraction and I'm confused. Hand me a calculator please for multiplication and division - anything else and I'm looking for help or guessing. At least in my line of work I don't deal too much with sums - and if I do it's adding up costs and working out if the expense is consistent with the bigger picture!
